I was at the Lee-on-the-Solent (UK) beach. I was walking along the street and noticed that one of the ice cream shops was called "Penguin Cafe". Guess what the logo was. Yes, you guessed it. The old, trusty Tux. That's the open source spirit! Haven't managed to snap a photo, but I will when I can. By the way, no, you had to pay for the ice cream.

Definitely Tux but maybe also a reference to Simon Jeffes and the Penguin Cafe Orchestra?

Trust me you know them. They are a band that no one knows the name of but once you have heard a few songs you will know you've heard them a million times before. Great band and Simon Jeffes, a great guy, musician and composer. RIP

I live in Toronto and recently i visited an old working place of mine and on route I saw a "Linuxcafe" on Harbourd st (just south of Bloor) remembered seeing Tux infront of the cafe long time ago but just figured it was a regular old penguin

didn't have time to visit but lookin forward to it sometime soon
