Hi, after unsuccessfully trying to install and use codeblocks i was trying to follow advice given at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1319584 - trying to reinstall libwxbase with synaptic.
But the Force Version option is greyed out! Trying to resist the WTF i searched through the forums and foud this issue several times, but it was never answered, like in:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/21354
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/73204 and many more
Please, what does one have to do to enable the Force Version option in Synaptic? And whlie youre at it - how to avoid nonfunctional C::B installs? Its a shame to see it functioning perfectly on ******* and not being able to use it on linux.
I have the Lucid 10.4 running on a dell precision m4400
