Hi have been using lucid for a while now and i installed it within windows a few times and now suddenly when i install it in windows and then restart my pc to start up ubuntu or kubuntu then the purple screen comes up for a few seconds then i get this black busy box screen, i got no idea why, i put a pic of what it shows.
It was also doing this while trying to install it like normal with booting it off the cd that also used to work just last week and now it wont work anymore it just gives a error.
its driving me insane i dunno what caused it i reset the bios and formatted the whole drive and it still wont work.
the only think i know i have done differently lately was i tried doing a live boot of Lubuntu from a USB stick and ever since then this problem has been coming up
i really am confused i hope someone can help me out.
