Hello Everyone,
I have been using Ubuntu since the last one year. Recently I had shift to Windows because a third party software was not supported by ubuntu. I am bugged up with windows but sadly cant dump it (just for one software!!). I tried installing ubuntu 9.10 inside virtual box 3.2.6 on a windows 7 host. After I select install ubuntu, I get the following error message
run-init : /sbin/init : I/O error
[ 188 .238706] : Kernel panic - not syncing. Attempting to kill init!
and the screen freezes. I have to power off the virtual machine to come out of it. I have Win 7 ultimate 64bit as a host.
Please guide me through this prob.
