Hi

Iwanted to use windows xp(or any other os) inside ubuntu using virtual box. I have iso file of the os. But the virtual box does not accept these images, its looking for some vmdk file.

Kindly tell me how to convert iso to vmdk or some other solution to this

Mount your .iso file into the VirtualBox CD ROM drive and startup the virtual machine.

thanks a lot, i somehow managed to mount the iso image. actually i first had to create a virtual directory on my hard disk and saving it with .vdi extension. then i could install the distro to that virtual disk..
