I am fairly amateur with Ubuntu. I removed Samba using sudo apt-get remove samba and I noticed that all of the old files were still there so I removed them and the directory. I tried to reinstall by using sudo apt-get install samba, but it did not recreate the directory and the files. Is there a way to start from scratch?
