Ubuntu 10.4. not starting anymore after update

Hi!

I just installed Ubuntu 10.4
The only thing I did after installation was providing credentials for my WiFi, installing the suggested ATI drivers for my video card and doing a complete update via the update manager.

After restart I see Grub coming up, select Ubuntu 10.4 and end up with a black screen.

If I try recovery mode the same happens.

What now?

I think your problem is with new PLYMOUTH. Giving some headaches to old graphic card owners.
