Hey
I have tried to find help in the rest of this forum, but in the hours i spent looking, couldn't find anything that was specifically like my problem.
My wireless internet keeps disconnecting, but for no apparent reason. It seems completely sporadic. It used to be a case of waiting a few seconds for it to re-connect, but now I have to restart the laptop. There are times where I can't even look to see whats wrong or turn on the wireless (as this is what the troubleshooter says, and only this with this problem!) as the icon on the panel isn't there! So I just have to restart then anyway!
I can't see a reason for the internet disconnecting, as the rest of my family can get the internet fine without problems, so it must just be me.
While looking through the forum before, someone said that Wicd is good to use, but the same problem keeps happening with this too.
So I am out of ideas, and am considering formatting everything and just starting again with 10.4 (I am using 10.4 currently).
