View Full Version : 10.04 - use extern repositories and want to switch back

I did add a 3rd-part responsitories to try something out, but now I decide to remove this one. Unfortunatly the 3rd-part responsitories did also provide Mythtv-packages therefore I'm now stuck with this packages that wont update anymore.

Is there a way to switch back to the packages that are provide from Mythbuntu? I already add them in the source.lst, but they are not updating, because of different deb-numbers.

(It works flawless with my other packages - just a "sudo dpkg -i xxx.deb" of the old packages did work, but I can't get the old mythbuntu-packages nor can I download them somewhere.)

sudo aptitude remove [list of packages you don't want]

sudo aptitude install mythbuntu-desktop
