Hey guys
Who is a writer here in the forums? Can be any writer: novelist, poet, lyricist, etc.
I have a few questions:
1. What word processor do you use and why?
2. Do you think the Ubuntu OS has a lot of potential for writers, especially those who are fed up with Windows and those who can not afford a Mac?
3. Any current projects you are working on?
4. Has your work been published?
I personally use OpenOffice Writer, but because of recent issues with 3.2 (which still is not solved), I am using Abiword.
I think Ubuntu has a lot of potential. I mean, a lot of people have heard of Ubuntu. Sheldon in The Big-Bang Theory announcing his favourite Linux based operating system.

There was even a local South African soap opera that mentioned Ubuntu. "You know, Lucilla, "ubuntu" is more than just a computer operating system!"
It's free, it works with almost any computer, and it gives the user freedom to explore, customize, and do whatever he/she wants.
I am currently working on a novel, and I write poems for a creative writing club in my high school.
I have not been published
