Hi guys, i'm having trouble trying to get ubuntu to install on my vaio VPC-S11V9E, as soon as i try to boot from the CD I get a purple screen for a few seconds then the display powers off, I've tried the 32 and 64bit editions, booting from the CD and installing from within windows but no matter what method I try I always end up with the screen powered off completely blank, can anyone help me with this?
