Panel Problem

The Panel gets broken many times.
Sometimes the Switch Button vanishes, battery indicator shows up twice.

How do I solve it out.

The same happens on my Ubuntu 10.04 (9.10 is behaving). I right-clicked on the panel and added an extra shutdown button, so I always have at least one working.

It is not elegant, I know...
