Hi Ya'll,
Just wondering if anyone has tried Amazon s3 or something like it? It looks like it can be cost effective. I am getting tired of losing my documents and videos and music all the time and having to reburn everything. Does the Amazon s3 integrate well into Ubuntu? Not really sure what else I need to ask about this cloud storage stuff. I have a small back up external also, but I have had those fail a few times also.
Thanks

First question is "Why do you keep losing your docs, videos and music?"

Have you also looked at Ubuntu One, which appears to be the same thing as Amazon S3, though I really don't know for certain.

Hi

Yes, try ubuntuone and/or dropbox (which is cross platform). I think these use amazon S3 server space. Certainly dropbox works very well on Ubuntu and is in the repos (using synaptic package manager)
