Is there a way for the file folders in File Browser to show some of the photos inside the folder? This would be really helpful in Icon View to see what is inside each folder without opening them one at a time.

Yes, the folders do that if you have images in them.

Set nautilus to show icon view in the folders and you will see thumbnails of pictures/photos by default.

I did see where icon view will show the photos in a folder, but can I get to see the pix on the folder icon itself, as I can with Win Explorer, so I can see what's in a folder while still being outside it?
