I like the wengophone 2 beta better but that's just my personal preference :-)

After getting flammed by the people in #gaim for suggesting a myspace messenger plugin I decide to switch and haven't looked back. Yes, I know myspace sucks, but that's no reason to be rude :-)

I think it's great. I have used it since it came out and I find it to be very stable for a beta.

I find it's amazing... and it says it has a problem with Glib even though I have the latest version installed...

Install the development packages in synaptic and if you can't get it to work, use Automatix to install it.

also I can recomend installing guification which is a graphical notifier (themable)

I think it's in the reps somewher otherwise its on the website:

as far as I know the guifications are for the Ubuntu included version, which is older than beta 3

I can't seem to find a list of new features over the current stable gaim. will this support msn video? can i get my sister off my back when gaim2 comes out?

Your gaim-data deb is broken i think... caused some problem which required ubuntu-desktop to be reinstalled, and (obviously) gaim and gaim-data 1.5
