Googlebot can bypass many sites due to the indexing but it followed the admin pages and as it followed the delete links ...it deleted the content lol highly amusing

Well, if you read it your find out why it managed to delete his content.
I have no idea why he was relying on Javascript for his authentication system, I would of used PHP sessions my self (I believe it was PHP)
Also he used GETs where you should use POSTs (For submitting information you don't want to use a GET, read the RFCs)

that security model is just retarded. it was all clientside, and could easily be spoofed merely by accident.

someone got hit by the stupidadmins exploit!

Bwahahaa.. Anybody relying on javascript for security deserves to loose their site. And job, If you ask me.

Even more so if he really made made the site so that it needs javascript to block access, instead of the other way round :rolleyes:

I hope that admin learned a lesson here. But it's pretty stupid to go yelling around internet how googlebot destroyed your site, if you made such a bad site in the first place.. It would be smart move to keep your mouth shut and think about what went wrong here.. :-k
