Firefox 4.0b2pre is available at http://nightly.mozilla.org

If you want to test it without interfering with your default version and user profile, then use FoxTester (http://foxtester-extension.blogspot.com/) extension.

For more info on how to install other versions of Firefox see the Installing Other Versions (http://firefox-tutorials.blogspot.com/2010/05/installing-other-versions.html) tutorial.

It's already in beta? That's great. That means it shouldn't take long anymore for the stable version to be released.

As far as I know it should be released by November.

Same old UI. I knew Linux users were going to get shafted there. You can't really trust mockups for Linux applications because they're often just drawn by random people who aren't connected to the developers at all.

Resizing in VirtualBox is faster is still faster than resizing in Linux. (fail)

Edit: And yes, it is still beta, but generally you don't introduce major UI changes in them and they're already present in the Windows release.

Both mac and Linux builds are the same UI, nothing new from the 3.7 builds.

The new UI will be coming soon to Mac and Linux.

I tried it out, not much to see yet on Linux. My addons didn't get carried over, although they did get carried over in Windows. The apptabs seems cool, I'm looking forward to them.
