Hi All,
Sorry if this has been asked a lot before, I'm sure it's a common problem but I was unable to find an answer in my searches.
I run ubuntu from behind a proxy. In general, apt-get respects my http_proxy env variable just fine. However, when I try to install something that grabs proprietary software (say, flashplugin-installer), apt will disregard my proxy when it tries to wget (or whatever it uses) the bits.
Can someone help me out with this? Thanks in advance!
