I've got issues with my hardware graphics acceleration, I think.

Whenever the screensaver (!) starts, CPU utilisation shoots up to 80%.
This behaviour might as well be the cause for my poor Flash experience, on ads (and less severe on video playback) Flash draws heavily on the system, sometimes two Flash banners on one page nearly freeze the system.

I use the proprietary nVidia graphics driver.

System is a Asus Pundit1 AH1 with AMD Athlon CPU and 1GB RAM
