I am using GLX-Dock (Cairo-Dock with OpenGL), I just want to know how to activate the "icon effects" and "illusion" plug-ins ? thanks for reply.

in the 2.1.3, you have to open the config panel, and go to advanced mode, then just enable the 2 plug-ins.
It's a small bug that is fixed in the 2.2 (you don't have to go to advanced mode anymore).
