Dear All, I am using Kubuntu on Lucid and I am used to connect remotely to my desktop by using VNC. I am using vnc4server. It worked perfectly until Jaunty included. From Karmic on, VNC does not show the desktop properly. The resolution is very low, colours are altered and the taskbar appears as a mess, with double icons etc. I am experiencing the same problem with tightvncserver, while x11vnc works fine. However, x11vnc is not a solution for me, because it gives connection to a real desktop while I would prefer a virtual desktop.
With vnc4server I also tried by changing the -depth option. It improves a bit with -depth 24 but still the visualisation is very poor.
Any idea would be much appreciated ):P
Thanks a lot!
