Honestly, I swear to god there are more problems with my laptop than ever. It's driving me nuts.

So I got told I had updates, and some of them were firefox related. Everything with the updating went okay, until it came to firefox and once the process was finished it came up with this:

E: /var/cache/apt/archives/firefox-branding_3.6.6+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1_i386.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/share/pixmaps/firefox.png', which is also in package firefox-2
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/firefox_3.6.6+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1_i386.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/share/bug/firefox/presubj', which is also in package firefox-2

How do I fix this? Firefox is now replaced with the black square on my panel and I'm not left with Firefox 2 instead of 3. so all my extensions are gone.

Please help :)

no one knows what this is. The problem is that we are using an very old system. We use because we are lazy or newbie.

Maybe this page will show us some fix

to fix delete the downloaded firefox files at /var/cache/apt/archives and download again (update your system)
