I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 and have at last installed the latest "stable" version of evolution (2.30.2) with evolution-mapi (0.30..). I am running in a Exchange 2007 environment. I've been using evolution for years and years, but since my company upgraded to Exchange 2007, I've been using VMware player and outlook.
There are a lot of stability issues with this version, but the most serious problem is that I can not send emails to internal recipients. Mail to external recipients works find. Mail to internals seems ok (information about sending process goes to 100% ok), but it then says "sending fail" and the mail is stuck in the outbox.
I would be happy to know if there is something I can do to make this work. It is kind of useless to use this app if I can't send emails internally.
