Hi -

I just installed Ubuntu - i've find a number of annoying bugs. Here is one of them...

I created a user account for my wife - She was set up as an administrator with full access to everything (including wireless, internet, etc etc.)

The top tool panel on MY desktop has the Speaker Icon - And to its left is a Wireless Internet Icon, which I use to connect to the internet and manage internet options.

On my Wifes desktop - its not there. There is just three horizontal lines one ontop of the other. This is the icon for the "Notifications Icon"

I have tried nm-whatever it was and It tells me an instance of it is already running.

Any help?
