so i am not sure if this is even possible to but i wanted to know if there was a new friendly way to set mame or a mame front end as a boot option with in grub? right now i am using a gateway notebook and i have ubuntu 9.10 and then xbmc set as boot options but would love to be able to boot right in to mame with out having to fully load ubuntu then load mame.

btw i love ubuntu and you guys/girls are great :)

This MAME is an emulator, right? As it is an emulator and not a platform then I think the short answer would be a no.

Also this thread appears to be in the wrong place, sorry to point that out.
