Hello,
I am considering upgrading to Mysql 5.1 from Mysql 5.0.75 (due to a necessary upgrade in Ubuntu linux from 9.04 to 9.10 and then to 10.04 which won't allow me to keep Mysql 5.0 unfortunately).
Considering I have got data in my 5.0 mysql database, can I just upgrade using Ubuntu expecting to find my data upon completion of re-installation or do I need to save the data with a script and then run the sql script to re-populate my freshly installed 5.1 database?
Any answer welcome,
Thanks in advance,
Julien Martin.
