lame.

what's the meaning of the scale??

Or this supposes to be a joke that the scale is the number of twitter followers who consider OpenOffice a viable alternative to MS Office...

The scale is to give people a scale of agreement or disagreement.

0 = it does not offer an alternative at all

10 = it is a perfect alternative

the numbers in between slide between those two.

So it is neither lame - imho - nor a joke. It just takes a bit of understanding and comprehension.

For being a good alternative to MS Word, 8/10.

For being an actually good product, 6/10 (most of which comes from the fact that it's fairly easy to pick up, but is missing a lot of functionality. The only reason than that I gave it a 6, but in comparison to MS Word an 8, is because MS Word is also missing the same functionality).

10/10 for me. The only thing I prefer in MS Office is Powerpoint, but that's changing.
