Hello friends,

I have been using ubuntu past 3 years, I got everything except a good Account Management System like Tally.

I tried Gnucash and many other packages but nothing seems to be as good as Tally. Gnucash is also good but lacking many features of Tally for example stock management, invoicing etc.

Hence, I am trying to make one like Tally. Is there anyone from the world who is interested in assisting me.

If yes then inputs are heartily appreciated.

Thanks.

Why don't you just get Tally?

:lolflag:

I am thinking to increase and support open source community and wanted to bring a new revolution in linux accounting system and you are saying to purchase tally, Dear I am having all the versions of tally since 4.5 to ERP.

Please, I want to make something different ... if you can help then report me ... Sorry if I disappointed you Legendary but you can understand my feeling to Ubuntu...

As an alternative, many are going online. All in the browser:

Though I know this may be a little uneasy dealing with personal financial info in the cloud.

So, wait, let me get this straight, your asking all of us to make the software for you, because from the sounds of it, you dont seem to know how to program applications.

Sorry if im being a bit rude here, but i do really dislike it when people seem to come to forums like this one and beg us to make an application for them. It just seems like your running from windows, but find linux too hard, or whatever and now you want us to do all the work for you?

If you really want to create your own application for accounting, write up some boilerplate code, get something working, come back here and some of us MIGHT pick it up and play with it.

I have saved these that others have posted. Some of the ERP/MRP systems offer a free version but charge for more features.

No dear, again u are misunderstanding me... Sorry if I hurted u directly or indirectly... I didn't meant that... I just wanted to make a group of programmers, even I am also a programmer, who will work together as a group and launch a new Account management system for Ubuntu, credits will go to all of those who have spent their precious time in building this software.

Have u understood now, or I have to explain it another time...
