Hello I have a problem with installing ubuntu on this notebook . When I try to live distro and after entering noacpi vga = 791 and my laptop hangs after 30sec and on does not work anymore. On the screen will just name Ubuntu and four red dots. Please help. Sorry for my English.

try to boot by editing the boot line and remove "splash" and maybe add nomodeset, then boot

Please how did you think of it remove "splash"? And what does nomodest ? Please explain me in detail, thank you. Live CD boot options in power offer.
