error with "b43-fwcutter"

Hello folks!
I am new to ubuntu. I am using ubuntu 10.04 on dell inspiron 1545 laptop. I get an error when ever I try installing a new application. I use wireless Internet over a proxy server.
The error goes as follows:
dpkg: error processing b43-fwcutter (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 4
Errors were encountered while processing:
b43-fwcutter

Any help appreciated.

is it firewall ubuntu ?
it is saying that you have yet this 'thing'...or you have / or not configure.
i am not sure maybe i am wrong so let 's wait someone else.
