Anyone know whats going on??

I pop in the boot-up disc. I get to the part where I select my language and then I get the options of Trying befor install, Install, Check disc, Check System, Boot-up from hard drive.

Whenever I pick any of them my system just freezes. I restarted multiple times.

Help.

After selecting language, press F4 and select Safe Graphics mode. Then select Try Ubuntu without making changes.

Not always, but most often this works.

Sorry, I was under impression of Karmic LiveCD. While you must be using Lucid (Ubuntu 10.04). There was some bug in Lucid Alpha3 release with Safe Graphics mode, so they removed the option itself.

You can try 'nomodeset' on F6. This was the only part of the Safe Graphics mode that is still effective. See if it helps you go further.
