cardapio applet "dot"?

ok im new to ubuntu and i saw a cool applet
which i dowloaded by following this:
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/06/cardapio-alternative-gnome-panel-menu.html

and it worked! kinda... i right clicked on the panel and clicked add,looked in the list and it was there. but then i added it appeared as a tiny dot that i cant move,edit,or delete.

dot is on the bottom left


any help would be greatly appreciated

(then reinstall Cardapio)
