I installed kernel 2.6.34-020634-generic in Kubuntu 10.04 to get SSD TRIM support. I used the kernel team PPA to install. (See http://usablesoftware.wordpress.com/2010/05/26/switch-to-a-newer-kernel-in-ubuntu-10-04/)
But whenever I check automatic updates, it asks me to install kernel 2.6.32-23. How can I stop this and tell it I do not want to install an older kernel? Thanks.
