I downloaded ubuntu 10'04 and did the checksum. all was well so I burned the image and tried to install it but 90 seconds into the install I get a "power off mode " message and the install stalls. I ordered and received a cd from Conical and tried it and get the same message. I then used my tried and tested 9.04 and 9.1 cd's and both install fine.
Any one have any idea what is going on with 10.04?
Maybe I am doing something wrong but I don't have any problem installing the older ubuntu O.S.
