I've searched and researched and can't come up with the right answers. I've written Canonical and not received a response yet.
According to the UCP test exam objectives at the bottom of this page (http://www.ubuntu.com/support/training/course-descriptions/certified-professional) the test is changing in October 2010.
Is the resulting certification the same for the current LPI based exam and the new lab exam? Would the current one look outdated instantly?
Also has anyone taken the Canonical elearning class (http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=533)? For $350 it seems extremely reasonable. I can not find if its on a schedule or how long it takes. I found one mention of a class taking 40 hours over 2 weeks. I just am trying to see how I can fit it in my schedule and not interfere with work.
