Guys is there NX client for Android? I am running FreeNX server on my machines and can't find NX client for Android, I'd like to connect via HTC hero running 2.1 ROM. anyone?

It doesn't seem likely.

Apparently NX uses X, that is not in Android OS

Shame!:(, oh well looks like will need to keep using connectbot and ssh into the boxes. Thanks for info though.

By your logic, there couldn't be an NX client for Windows, either.

Heh. Windows is a *slightly* larger market ;-)

By all means if you want to port X11 to android so everybody can use nxclient on it, please do :)

There are VNC clients for Android if you want to use VNC. I log into my PC at home using a VNC app on my HTC Hero (2.1)

Hi,
NX don't offer any UMPC client access right now...

As far as I know, the unique stable service in that is the Citrix, or you could look here the comparison table http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_remote_desktop_software
I guess you can follow using your NX Server as it's, and change the client in your UMPC which in theory could give you the same functionality...
