hi,
i have recently started using gmail through 10.04 's evolution client.
while replying to mails sent to my gmail account, i was disappointed to see that the replies sent via evolution are being stored only in the "sent" gmail folder. they are not being added as conversations which i can see/access via the inbox.
this deprives users of a major feature of gmail - the ability to see a mail and its subsequent replies as conversations in the in the inbox itself.
is it possible to alter a setting to allow evolution to add replies to an original mail in the inbox and display as conversations ?
btw, i have set the POP forwarding in gmail to ensure that my inbox mails are left untouched. so when i log into gmail, i see a certain number of unread mails, irrespective of whether i have read/ replies to these via evolution.
thanks!

hi.
If by mentioning "conversation" you meant thread. Just hit cntrl+T. Or use the mouse and click View>Group by Threads.

Otherwise you can access Gmail in the browser.
