Hi Folks.

I'm trying to install Peppermint (a new Ubuntu/Mint variant) on my wife's netbook. Peppermint uses XFCE and is based on Lucid. The problem is that the wireless doesn't work and there's no ethernet port on the netbook. I've installed the latest fwcutter "b43-fwcutter_012-1build1_i386.deb" on the Netbook. When I search for Hardware Drivers Peppermint wants to use the Broadcom B43 wireless driver.

What driver do I need to download (on a separate laptop). Then, once transfered to the Netbook, how do I install it using fwcutter? Do I then need to reboot? Any help is appreciated.

Update: When I choose Hardware Drivers, Peppermint reports that the Broadcom B43 wireless driver is activated. However, the Netbook is not detecting any networks.
