fvwm, how do I connect to internet?

I'm trying out the fvwm2 WM. When I log in with it it doesn't auto connect to the internet and I can't figure out where to go to get this done. Anyone have a similar issue solved?

just put "nm-applet" in autostart, as long as you have a system tray it should work.
