Hi

The nano ipod is seen by Lucid as an usb storage device for video and audio. It wants audio nine codecs.

How do I get this working? And....is it possible to sync it with iTunes?

it is my understanding that if you want to use iTunes, then you will need to run windows in a virtual machine like VirtualBox. If you just want to sync audio to it however, you should be able to easily do that with Rhythmbox which is installed by default in Ubuntu Lucid Lynx.

There are some alternatives to iTunes, such as banshee and gtkpod.
