Hey guys,

I'm completely new to Linux (literally, got it yesterday :P ) and I just spent the last hour playing around with Compiz on Ubuntu 10.04 :D As far as I know the cube/cylinder desktop worked fine (apart from them looking slightly bigger/closer to the screen compared to ones I've seen in videos etc) but when I tried out the sphere almost half of it was cut out from the top! Does anyhow know how to, like, centre it? lol

I tried to decrease the aspect ratio of the sphere thinking it could be too big (?) but that didn't work, the top bit was still off-screen...

I prefer the sphere to the cube/cylinder so any tips would be much appreciated. :)

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried going to the reflection tag and disabling reflection?

edit - also found that mucking around with reflection mode made a difference to position of sphere...not sure why this should be so, but made a difference on my machine - might work on yours

Disabling reflection worked slightly, but it still wasn't completely centred until I found the zoom feature lol ...I'm blind!!!

Thanks anyway
