View Full Version : [ubuntu] Hibernate after Suspended for a time period

I have a great install of 10.04 on a Dell 1012. I'm not sure if this has been posted before because I'm new to the forum but I've got an issue.

I love that it suspends perfectly when I close the lid, as I set it up. But 1) the suspend seems to use a lot of battery power and 2) if I leave it for a few hours I'd like it to go into hibernate so I don't come back to a dead computer.

I have hibernate installed but don't see or know of how I should try to set the preferences or options for the hibernate so that it will initiate after suspend has been active for 30 minutes or whatever time period I set.

Any ideas? Thanks for the help!
