Can't enter into ubuntu, sh:grub> terminal window is coming

I have installed the updates as it was showing by the update manager.After completion of the installation ,the os asked for the rebooting the system so i have just clicked on it..when i again comes to enter the ubuntu...a terminal type window is coming just after my click on ubuntu.it is something like this---

grub release version 1.97 beta 4
sh:grub>


now what should i enter here so that i can come on the main ubuntu gui window..?

Depends... did you install using wubi (installed from windows)? If yes, try this http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/bootinfoscript/index.php?title=Boot_Problems:Wubi_9.10

If not, run the bootinfoscript and post results back as per http://bootinfoscript.sourceforge.net/
