I just installed 10.04 Lucid. There were some animation effects in the compiz config settings manager which were to add extra features such as burn, glide and a whole lot now they are not in this compiz any ideas????

This all worked on under Karmic, has the options for Compiz changed?

Hey sjdown,
I'm not Emma, but here's what you need: Install & open simple ccsm (simple compizconfig settings manager). Under 'Animation' tab, check 'Enable Extra Animations' option.

Hope it helps. :)

Go to Synaptic packet manager and search for compiz fusion plugins extra. This worked for me.

Hi, I just re-installed Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic, and did not backup my compiz settings nor my software sources. I am using this to get compiz not-supported plugins like "Cube Atlantis" but is not working

Does anyone know which repo to use successfully for compiz on Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic?

Hey LH! I wanted to say "see if this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1291562&highlight=atlantis) helps", but then realized there already exists your very own post (Feb23rd, 2010) at the very first page!
Did you forget that or don't you know how to find threads you've posted into?

Anyway, if you wish to review it again, click here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1291562&highlight=atlantis). Post #5 (http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=8109452&postcount=5) in that thread should solve your problem ("It works WONDERFUL on 9.10" -is what you said there ;)).

If it doesn't help anymore, post here the result.

Thank you, I was used to the way FedoraForums, then when I switch to Ubuntu II did not realize that once you post, it is not automatically added to one's subscription.

Thank you again!
