I've had Ubuntu 9.10 for a while, and it works good.
Then version 10.04 came, and of course i wanted to get it :p
Sooo i opened up update manager, clicked on Upgrade and started upgrading to Lucid Lynx.
But when it was finished and i restared it, i was dropped into a busybox.
The past days have been spent trying to figure out a way to make it work. I've tried installing from cd and dvd, tried on my other hdd and tried the alternative iso. But none of these methods works.
At the top of the busybox it says something like: Gave up waiting for root device.
Under that, it says a file, wich i don't remember the name of, is missing.
Could this be a hardware problem? If so, i wouldn't be surprised. Almost everything on my computer is five to ten years old...

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated ):P
