Hi,
I've just installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS onto VirtualBox and I want to deploy MySQL and Ruby on Rails so I can do some development work.
I've seen loads of posts on various websites saying that all I need to do to install MySQL is open a terminal window and type sudo apt-get install mysql-server
But when I do this Ubuntu tells me that it can't find the package.
Is the package actually part of the Ubuntu install or do I need to download it? How do I find out what packages are available to install?
Thanks.
