Slow Wireless Signal + Lagging Online Streaming

Hello , i just installed hardy 8.04.

my problem is that i have a very weak wireless signal and flash videos are lagging.Plus all streaming online is lacking quality.
i beleive the problems have to do with the graphic card drivers and the wireless card ones as well, but i couldnt fix them by my own.i tried hard but in vain.
Please help me, and many thanks in advance to the community.
