Hi I have been studying screen printing and the T-shirt idustry for about a year now and there is are huge differences in the quality fit and feel of shirt. Higher end shirts tend to be softer to the touch and fit better and pricewise there is not a huge difference compared to the increase in quality.
This is a discussion about t-shirts relevent to tux and linux as there are many offerings of linux t-shirts and huge differences in the quality and pricing of different t-shirt supliers for screen printing and DTG. direct to garment printing.
What about the quality of the shirt they are printed on. Found a supplier, store that has the following t-shirts
: Alstyle Apparel 1301- Men's T-Shirt
: American Apparel 2001 - Men's Fine Jersey Short Sleeve T-Shirt
: Coal HarbourŪ S820- Men's Short Sleeve Contrast Stitch Tee
The store with these shirts has good pricing and is real good high quality of shirts.
I have a hole load of Alstyle Apparel 1301- Men's T-Shirt that I bought last fall and really like them as they are soft, fit well and are very high quality at an affordable price. They are made in North America.

AAA Alstyle is a high quality shirt at a good price. There are many different AAA shirts but generally cost a little more than Gilden but tend to be a better quality softer better fitting shirt.
American Apparel is made in the USA and is one of the softest high designer quality shirt avialable.

Americal Apparel makes there shirts in the USA and is well known for there softness, quality and fit. This is a higher end shirt and costs a lot more than others. I would personally like a couple 2001 Fine Jersey's to wear.
Coal HarbourŪ S820- Men's Short Sleeve Contrast Stitch Tee
is a very high end shirt with stiching and looks real nice.
I have a few of these in one of my stores and it looks real nice. I will proably order a few for myself just for the shirt
There is also Bella, they are a high end womans shirt brand and looks amazing.
These are the high end shirts of the screen printing and DTG industry. With these shirts you are getting soft feel, Quality and usually an affordable price for the quality of the shirt a design is printed on.
There is also Gildan shirts, Most of these shirts are ok and are usually a low end base shirt. I have seen some real nice gilen such as the Heavyweight and high-quality, Gildan UltraCotton tee. But have also seen some in stores that looked like crap.

I wrote this to edgucate, and pass on some knowledge gained from studying the t-shirt industry and screen printing.
