I'm new to Python, KDE and to Ubuntu so please bear with me. I just installed Kdevelop4 and now I want to add the python plug-in. Is this available as a .deb anywhere? If not, how do I go about installing it on Lucid i686 ?

You'll most likely have to compile it from source.

Where to SVN checkout python plugin:

Little help for compiling.. (Written for the PHP plugin though)

Be aware that.. (Language support -> Python), Python support is at *3, which means.. the plugin is available via a potentially unstable, unmaintained external plugin. Basically, use at your own risk
