Hello,
A month ago I installed (k)ubuntu (I tried installing both, instalation of both lead to same result) on my laptop (having already win xp installed), The installation was completed without any problems. BUT, when I tried to start up my laptop there was just black sreen with "GRUB loading ... " message - and nothing was happenig. I was waiting for ages, and... nothing. no error, nothing. Only "grub loading" message! It happened every time, with ubuntu and also with kubuntu.
the thing discouraged me from trying this for a month, but now I m goint to make another attempt; But first I would like to know a bit more about possible solutions. I am a beginner, so I realy have no clue.
could you please help me?
